Once a relatively common sight along U.S. highways, Mail Pouch barns are far less common in the twenty-first century. This one, photographed in August 1998 east of New Stanton, Pennsylvania, was visible from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, and thus, had a relatively large potential audience.
